My dream did not begin like a typical dream of mine that has no clear beginning--this was more like a night terror. I was sleeping peacefully one night, then in an instant I was violently sucked out of my sleep. I use the word "sucked" because that is how it felt. It literally felt like I was snatched or sucked out of my peaceful sleeping state. It happened so violently and suddenly that it felt more real than words can describe. When I finally came partly to my senses to realize what was happening, I found myself being sucked up a curved or cylindrical slide to what felt like a place of no return. I felt like I was never going to come back from where I was being taken. I felt like I would never make it back to my life if I didn't escape from this slide I was being sucked up. As I was being sucked up the slide, I was able to get a glance for a fleeting second of where I was, and it looked like a factory setting of some kind of decent size. It looked like it may have had windows, but if there were windows they were sealed shut so that I could not see outside--if there was an outside. The factory looking building i was in seemed to have a light blue glow, but it was mostly dark and devoid of any vibrance or love. It was a very sterile and terrifying place. As I said earlier, I felt like i would never make it back home if I did not escape, so I began to punch the inside of the slide with all the force I could muster over and over. After punching the inside of the slide at least 8 to 10 times, I was eventually snapped out of the night terror and I awoke on my bedroom floor, bloodied from head to toe and disoriented. I had also punched a hole in my wall from all the punching I did. I have never forgotten that night terror because it felt so real, and it was so terrifying. It still is seared into my memory today, even though it has been more than 3 years since it happened
